About Me

I’m a biracial woman of Thai and Anglo-Irish heritage living on the land of the Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (Melbourne, Australia). I am a mother of two and a Yai (the Thai name for grandmother) to one.

Yoga had been calling me for years. Finally In 2008 I listened to the call in an effort to regain strength and flexibility after I poorly managed a knee reconstruction. I became completely absorbed in the practise and was initially unaware of the profound and subtle impacts the practice was having on me. In 2013, after much doubt and a perhaps some resistance it became clear to me that yoga was my path, I decided to undertake my teacher training, with the view to leave my job in dentistry and open my own yoga studio.

In early 2014 during a dinner with Humming Puppy co-founder Chris Koch we discussed an idea to incorporate an element of sound/frequency into the room whilst you practised yoga. By the end of the dinner “the Hum’ in Humming Puppy was conceptualised & we began our journey to co-create what you see & feel today.

In everything I do, I am dedicated to fiercely maintaining authenticity, integrity and leading by my values. I am deeply passionate about creating spaces where people feel at ease and have space to pause and listening deeply.

I’m inspired by:
People! I believe that everyone has a unique story to tell. I appreciate spending time wth integral people who are humble, kind and not afraid to be themselves.

Guilty Pleasure:
Formula One racing! Aside from the fast cars I love the strategy and detailed technology that is invested into achieving a great result for the whole team.  I also LOVE cheesecake and chocolate mousse!
