Dana Tarasavage (she/her)
Dana identifies as a world citizen. She has been a yoga practitioner since 2004 and has a 200 Hour RYT from Urban Ashtanga Yoga Shala in Orlando, Florida. In 2011, she began making annual month-long trips to Mysore, India to study Ashtanga Yoga, including āsana, Yoga philosophy, Sanskrit, and chanting. She has additional certifications in Vinyasa and Restorative, has been a co-director of Yoga Teacher Trainings in NYC, and is currently a Master's Degree candidate in Yoga Studies with a focus on Yoga Philosophy and Sanskrit at Loyola Marymount University.
Her teaching approach is inspired by a motivation to help students experience, understand, and thus learn to listen to their bodies and breath through supportive and precise cueing and sequencing.
