My teaching Style
My interest rests in the area of self-inquiry. Through compassionate awareness, I help students create space for transformation on all levels. My classes are breath-focused and blend exploratory movement with mindful alignment.
I was born in Australia and raised in the States. Yoga became a part of my life in 2009 while at college, and I've been teaching since 2012. I launched an in-house yoga studio at an award winning holistic wellness center in Connecticut and went on to manage it for four years before moving to New Zealand with my family.
In the process of attaining two Bachelors Degrees I studied meditation, movement, voice and communication techniques along with a wide variety of healing methods. Through my studies I have learned how to embody more fully and I passionately share this experience in my classes.
I have a loving, supportive husband and an adorably wild toddler. Yoga and Ayurveda have been foundational in teaching me balance, something I aspire to consistently find in my life.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me….
Playing at the park with my family, drinking a chai or video chatting with loved ones around the globe.
Person who inspires me most
My son, who has given me the greatest gift life has to offer and who continually teaches me how to see the world through softer eyes.
