My Teaching Style
To me, yoga at its simplest means connection so regardless of the practice type, my ever-present intent is to have you feeling more connected to the truest you by class end.
Each of our teachers take inspiration from their lineage of yoga and personal practice when designing their classes, so this is a little bit more about how I uniquely deliver each style of class:
Mellow: Involves an easy blend of yin and restorative postures or a very gentle slow flow sometimes with blissful breath work variations accompanying. In between, there is time for introspection, sprinkles of yogic philosophy and clearing meditations.
Unified: My unified classes closely resemble my Akhanda Hatha training. Akhanda means “whole” and each class of that lineage blends a theme, mantra, meditation, pranayama and all types of postures to leave one feeling thoroughly revitalised and deeply connected.
Dynamic: My dynamics are strong with options for challenging, advanced postures and sometimes breath work. I love to sequence as if it is a warrior’s dance for building strength and prowess with sweet time for calming, grounded postures to conclude the practice.
A 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher of 4 years and Massage Therapist of 1 year. I am a lover of health, vitality, dance, art, writing, acting, singing and nature. I grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and found yoga as a teenager. The flowing sequences, cathartic stretching and strengthening, meditation and spiritual philosophy awakened a vital passion within. It was here my yoga journey began. In my early twenties, I moved to Byron Bay and soon after completed my 200hr Akhanda Yoga Teacher Training in a beautiful, intimate studio, with assistance from a devoted team of advanced teachers. Upon conclusion of the course I was invited to join the teaching team and began sharing my love of yoga with my students.
A year later, with a desire to deepen my experience and to learn more from the source of Akhanda, I embarked on a five-month solo mission to India. In Rishikesh, under the tutelage of Yogrishi Vishvketu, I completed my 300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. As an expansion of my interest in understanding the human body I became a qualified masseuse in 2017. After teaching hundreds of students and witnessing the powerful benefits of yoga, massage and nidra, I am passionate about using these practices to assist others in becoming their best selves.
Chocolate. Dark, raw, milk, chilli, salted caramel. I can eat a whole block in a day if the chocolate goblin takes over.
Can Marroig on Formentera, where you can jump naked off rocks into the crystal blue Mediterranean and it bothers no one. In fact, they may even jump with you laughing with pure joy and freedom.

Singing, dancing, massaging someone (I’m a massage therapist too), acting, sun baking, reading, learning. I love learning! Anything that involves learning and I’m as happy as Larry. Actually, who is Larry?
