My teaching Style
I teach a breath centered practise that challenges both the body and the mind to encourage inner awareness. I love yoga and want to give my students an experience that allows the beauty of the practise to unfold into their daily lives. I am passionate about teaching and consider my students to be my greatest teachers who inspire me on a daily basis.

About Me
Beginning my career in the hospitality industry, I fell into the dental industry managing practices for almost 10 years. Inspired by working with people who were passionate about their jobs, I decided to follow my passion for yoga.

I first came to yoga in a search to regain strength and flexibility after I poorly managed a knee reconstruction on the left side. I soon became hooked, practicing twice a week with my teacher and developing a daily home practise. Initially unaware of the huge impact yoga was having on me holistically, my outlook on life began to shift, I made some pretty big life changes and began creating a life I wanted to live.

In 2013 I decided to leave my job, undertake my teacher training and follow a desire to have my own studio, with the intention of making yoga accessible and appealing to people who would never have considered practicing before.

Over a cheesy Valentines Day dinner in 2014 with Chris; my partner in both life and business, Humming Puppy was conceived. We opened the doors to our first studio in Prahran, Melbourne less than one year later.

With the first Sydney studio opening in April 2015 I am excited about what the future holds for us all and can’t wait to share more of the Humming Puppy love with the world.

Favourite quote or saying
I have a few favourite words but some that my first yoga teacher used to say all the time were “trust and believe in yourself” such simple but powerful words that have stayed with me over the years.

I also love the Napoleon Hill quote:
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve”.
For me it sums up how powerful our minds are and how we can create the lives we want for ourselves by changing our thoughts.

And ……….I do love Dr Seuss, he is one enlightened (and cool) cat!!

If you really knew me you'd know
That I swear.

If I could have any super power what would it be
To teleport myself and be in many places at once so I didn’t miss out on anything.
