I was initially drawn to yoga through meditation. I quickly realised the physical practice was just the conduit as I dove into yoga philosophy, which nurtured me mentally, physically and spiritually. It connected me back to my body. After 9 years in the corporate world as a publicist, yoga was what gave me more life to live as I learned to breathe again.
What to expect from a class with me:
I am fascinated by the body and mind connection and how yoga, mindful movement and conscious breathing allows for introspection. To that effect, whether it’s a dynamic practice or a more meditative restorative style, students can expect a soul nurturing practice that will leave their four bodies clear (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual).
By serving others, I hope to spread the importance of mindfulness through yoga.
Most memorable yoga experience?
About 6 years ago, I was practicing yoga in Costa Rica and was the only student with a teacher who spoke only Spanish. My very little knowledge of the language was no hinderance as we flowed together and enjoyed a connection that only yoga could ignite.
Scouting out the best fresh baked blueberry muffin! I’m currently doing some very good research…
